Major Gifts Officer/Fundraiser Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development Clark Atlanta University The Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development (CCRTD) at Clark Atlanta University (CAU) is seeking applications for the position of Major Gifts Officer/Fundraiser. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an aggressive fund raising plan to solicit contributions, and/or gather monetary donations or other gifts specifically for the CCRTD center. This individual will drive the overall strategy and execution of the plan for the CCRTD as well as design concepts of communications and promotional materials specifically for fundraising initiatives. An equally important role of this position is to raise awareness of CCRTD?s vision, work, goals, and financial needs. An undergraduate degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience and proven track record in fund raising of $5M or greater within a 3-year time period is required. Experience and/or expertise in non-profit organizations, such as universities is extremely desirable. A strong background in public relations, oral and written communications skills, and public relations expertise is a plus.
