SUMMARY

The Social Media Manager owns, develops and executes an integrated Social Strategy to foster engagement and community growth. This role is responsible for managing the presences of our brands across key social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, among others. In addition, this person is responsible for offering strategic guidance for our brands social media strategy in key international markets.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and implement integrated social media plans driving community growth and engagement
  • Create innovative and strategic content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Youtube among others with the goal of building strong engagement with the audience.
  • Support the brand managers and category managers in driving product awareness and sales for new product launches and existing products. through social media platforms
  • Create strategies that deliver the desired brand experience consistently across social platforms
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings in order to share learnings from the community and drive the development of content calendars,
  • Work with copy and creative external and internal partners (e.g., designers, strategist, analyst, etc.) to ideate and execute compelling content
  • Collaborate with international teams to build our social media strategy and ensure consistency in our brand voice and communications
  • Create influencer strategy across our brand and platforms
  • Identify key influencers our brands should engage with across our channels
  • Develop an ongoing social media publishing and promotional calendar monthly that is aligned with the brands and kids2.com marketing calendar.
  • Curate and manage all published social community content (images, video, promotions and written).
  • Monitor performance publishing tool and implement actions of social media
  • Support Marketing Analytics Manager in effort to report on performance of social platforms and conduct Social Listening
  • Track key learnings and leverage to optimize our presence within social media
  • Works with analysts to identify industry trends, monitor, analyze and report performance KPI s and results across all platforms, identifying opportunities for growth, efficiency and adjusting strategy as needed to improve performance.
  • Utilize past experience to increase social campaign effectiveness and improve results.
  • Stay current with latest industry trends in the social space and contribute thought leadership to the organization on emerging platforms
  • Monitor and escalate any conversations that warrant management review (ie recalls and controversial topics)
  • Photography partner with manager of analytics to provide insights into what works and doesn t work Manage community manager
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • 4+ years related experience (creating and managing social media campaigns.)
  • Deep passion and fluency in social media platforms with eye on emerging platforms
  • Comfortable working with Google Docs, spreadsheets
EDUCATION & SKILLS
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience (iWeb and Social Media, Communications, Marketing, or Business Management preferred)
  • Deep understanding of all relevant social reputation utilities, social media best practices, and a desire to research and explore new offerings.
  • Ability to establish and meet tight deadlines, change directions when necessary, and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
