Are you ready to join an already winning team and help us continue to grow for years to come?Our Newest Opportunity:The Benefits & Compensation Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the benefits and compensation strategies, policies and programs. In this position, you will design, implement and continuously improve Employerl s strategic approach to employee benefits and compensation. You will help ensure that our compensation and benefits programs align with company goals, comply with legal requirements and positively impact our culture by attracting, rewarding and retaining talented people. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Benefits & Compensation Manager will work alongside the HR team, responsible for establishing and monitoring policies and procedures, managing employee records, administering benefits and compensation, and managing legal compliance.Responsibilities Include:Benefits Administration:Manage full cycle benefit process of medical (to include ACA compliance), dental, flexible spending, vision, life, AD&D, disability, COBRA, EAP, 401(k), and Deferred Compensation plans.Serve as the primary contact for employees, benefit plan vendors, third party administrators in regard to all benefits issues. Investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations. Enter new hire benefits information and current employee changes into HRIS, as necessary.Administer the Corporate Wellness, Rewards, and Recognition programsProvides thought leadership around trends and best practices for employee benefit and retirement plansEnsure that Employerl benefits are competitive, cost-effective and equitable. Must become expert in all benefit programs that we offer.Manages annual benefits contracts, workers compensation, and 401k retirement programsCoordinate and support open enrollment activities annually. Ensure that Workday is updated and ready to support online enrollment experience for each year.Work closely with internal broker to analyze annual renewal proposals from current and competing carriers, to make strategic decisions surrounding the corporate benefits plan offering.Work with leadership and Finance team to determine employee/employer cost share strategiesAssist with Benefit Orientations for newly hired employees.Create and maintain rate tables for all plans in Workday HRIS.Familiarity with general ERISA provisions impacting defined contribution plans, as well as COBRA (State and Federal), self-funded insurance plans and understanding complexities of company ownership structures.Compensation:Works closely with the Payroll team to ensure proper payroll deductions areWork with leadership and the Finance team to design, implement and manage all compensation activities including salary and bonus programs.Stays abreast of the latest industry trends regarding compensation and ensures competitive and equitable compensation programs are in placeOversee pay gap reporting and equal pay analysis.Works collaboratively with functional leaders and TM team to ensure compensation plans appropriately incentivize and promote employee performanceEstablishes appropriate salary grades and uses external data to ensure grades stay up to dateReview and resolves issues affecting the 401(K) plan including contributions, match and catch-up contributions.Manage the Deferred Compensation plan for highly compensated individuals; responsible for communications, eligibility and open enrollment process for the programCompliance:Manage Annual 401(k) audit and 5500 processManage Annual H&W 5500 processManage Annual ACA reporting and deliveryEnsures compliance with employee and confidential files, both hard copy and electronic filesOversees the audit process for required reporting and filings as required by regulatory agenciesRequired Skills:Analytical and able to develop alternative solutions in solving problems.Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of benefits administration for a 1500+ employee multi-site companyMust be self-motivated and disciplinedExhibit professional maturity and high level of Emotional IntelligenceEnergetic and able to take on challenging work.Servant Leadership mentalityAbility to relate to people of all levels and personalitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to thrive in fast-paced environmentAbility to stay focused, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities.Proven ability to work independently.Flexibility with ability to overcome obstacles to meet deadlines.Required Experience:Bachelor's degree, required; preferably in Human Resource management or related field7+ years of strategic Benefits Administration experience with a strong knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, ERISA, Section 125, preferred; 5+ years required Experience managing compensation planning, strategy and retirement plans, requiredExperience with Workday HRIS system, requiredProfessional HR designation (PHR or SHRM-CP), preferredThank you for your interest in joining the Employerl team!
