Unmatched expertise and comprehensive solutions to simplify the lives of tax and accounting professionals Thomson Reuters is looking for a dynamic leader with the right blend of leadership presence, energy and forward thinking to lead Thomson Reuters overall Product Security initiatives.This function will shape the strategy and execution of the overall Product Security strategy, combining risk, business acumen and defensive practices to our product development lifecycle. The role will include managing key Business Security Leaders (BSLs) in each of the major lines of business, as well as several security and development teams to help drive accountability and adoption of an exceptional secure development practice in the company. This includes penetration & application security testing, vulnerability management, product cybersecurity marketing, secure coding practices and our evolving secure development lifecycle (SDLC) at TR. This role will also interface with peers and partners in a number of key areas, including Legal, Incident Response/PSIRT and Security Awareness & training, as well as regular engagements with the business CTOs and leadership on a wide range of Product Security-related initiatives. This role will also consult regularly with Thomson Reuters CISO team, Executive management, delivery teams and technical talent to help shape practical defensive patterns and frameworks. This position is expected to be thought leader in the cybersecurity industry, and will be responsible for helping the organization navigate disruptive trends in the market through the synthesis of risk consulting, enterprise-impacting solutions and security strategies. Essential Responsibilities: Develop and deliver Thomson Reuters overall Product Security strategy, roadmap and execution plan Reporting to the CISO, serve as the principal point of contact for all Product-related security engagments within ISRM Work with peers and partners to continue maturing TRs overall Secure Development Lifecycle Co-develop and improve TRs overall Product Incident Response lifecycle with each of TRs businesses Partner with Software Development teams on Enterprise & Product roadmap targets within the business, reporting progress to the CISO as well as Product Leadership in the businesses Provide essential guidance and trusted advisor leadership to Thomson Reuterss Executives & Senior Management Lead cross-functional teams to develop acceptable Enterprise Secure development policies, standards & specifications for Thomson Reuters Provide critical thought leadership, ingenuity and forward-looking direction to the practice of product security and secure development at Thomson Reuters, with specific attention to bridging the business, IT & risk worlds in dialog and solutions Develop a strong peer network of Business Leaders, CTOs and ISRM, and facilitate the development of Enterprise-class security solutions for our customers and consumers Qualifications/Requirements Proficiency / experience in one or more complimentary domains of threat management, technology or information security Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, other technical field, Masters degree in an Engineering or Computer Science field preferred Must possess strong organizational, facilitation and critical thinking abilities, to assess complex problems, analyze options, navigate diverse perspectives and objectives, and develop acceptable Enterprise security solutions for Thomson Reuters 10+ years of experience in the information technology, software development or threat intelligence Must be self-motivated, flexible and highly resourceful to reach acceptable solutions at the Enterprise tier.
